Embroidered Sunflower Brooch II

This striking sunflower brooch can be gently moulded into various petal formations. Using freehand machine embroidery layers of thread are stitched onto a water soluble fabric which is then dissolved. The leaves are stitched in a green variegated thread which creates a lovely tonal effect. This sunflower has touches of red on the petals.
The flower measures 6cm in diameter and 8cm in length including the leaves.
The brooch has a pin clasp to the reverse.
